ہر لفظ کا ثبوتThe proof behind every word

منشور کا ساتواں اصول کہتا ہے: حوالے کے بغیر دعویٰ نہیں۔ یہ کمرہ اسی وعدے کا ذخیرہ ہے — گیارہ کلاسیکی شعراء کے ہزاروں اشعار، تاکہ لغت کے ہر لفظ کے ساتھ اس کی گواہی موجود ہو۔ سب عوامی ورثہ، سب مفت۔The seventh principle of our charter says: no claim without a source. This room is the store behind that promise — thousands of couplets from eleven classical poets, so every word in the dictionary can carry its witness. All public domain, all free.

ہر سند ایک مکمل record — یہی سانچہ لغت کے ہر لفظ سے جڑتا ہےEvery citation is one structured record — this is what the dictionary links to.

خانہField مطلبMeaning
عوامی ورثہ کیسے طے ہوا: صرف وہ شعراء شامل ہیں جن کی وفات کو ستّر سال سے زیادہ گزر چکے (سب سے حالیہ: علامہ اقبال، 1938ء)۔ فیض، فراز، پروین شاکر، جون ایلیا، گلزار جیسے بڑے نام جان بوجھ کر شامل نہیں کیے گئے — اُن کا کلام ابھی کاپی رائٹ میں ہے، اور منشور کا پہلا اصول «سب اپنا» ہے۔
متن کی نقل: اشعار کی اردو اور رومن نقل ریختہ فاؤنڈیشن کے کام سے لی گئی ہے (ur/en متن، عوامی ذخیرہ)۔ شاعری خود عوامی ورثہ ہے؛ نقل کی محنت اُن کی ہے — شکریہ۔
حالت: ہر شعر «متداول» ہے — یعنی مشہور و مسلّم متن۔ حرف بہ حرف املا کی حتمی تصدیق مطبوعہ نسخوں سے کتب خانے (آنے والا کمرہ) میں ہو گی۔ اعراب کا خانہ قرینہ سے بھرا جائے گا۔ How public domain was decided: only poets dead more than seventy years are included (the most recent being Allama Iqbal, 1938). Major names like Faiz, Faraz, Parveen Shakir, Jaun Elia and Gulzar are deliberately absent — their work is still in copyright, and the charter's first principle is that everything here is ours to give.
Transcription: the Urdu and Roman text comes from the work of the Rekhta Foundation. The poetry itself is public domain; the labour of transcribing it is theirs — with thanks.
State: every couplet is marked established — widely transmitted text. Letter-perfect spelling still awaits checking against printed editions in the Library, a room still to open.
